
Shaun Richardson, Club President & Head Coach
Shaun Richardson is entering his 5th season as Head Wrestling Coach at Roncalli High School. He is coming to us from Perry Meridian Wrestling Club. He spent the 20 years prior coaching up the Falcons, 14 as the Head Wrestling Coach at Perry Meridian Middle School and 6 as the Assistant Varsity Coach at Perry Meridian High School. He was also the head Elementary Coach for PMWC for the past 5 years. In his six seasons as the Varsity Assistant Coach, he helped coach the Falcons to a top 10 finish 5 times. As a Royal Coach, he led his first team to place as 3A State Runner ups and in 2025 claim the 3A State Championship Title. He was also named Indiana Mat 3A Coach of the Year!
Richardson is a USA Wrestling Bronze Certified Coach. He is the President and Head Coach of the wrestling club, Roncalli Wrestling Foundation.
A 1998 graduate of Perry Meridian High School, he then continued his education at the University of Indianapolis for a year before transferring to Indiana University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. In 2009, he completed his Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Indianapolis.
Coach and his wife Melinda reside in Perry Township. Melinda teaches Project Lead the Way at Douglas MacArthur. They have three children, Lucy, Jack (R’27) and Will (R’30).

Shawn Slaymon, Assistant Coach/Girls Head Coach
Shawn wrestled at Franklin Central High School before graduating in 2002. After graduation , he went on to study at Purdue University graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture. Shawn started his coaching career with Whiteland Wrestling Club from 2007-2018 where he coached all levels from club aged to becoming the assistant coach at the High School. In 2018, He accepted a role with Greenwood Wrestling coaching all levels from 2018-2021. He has been with Roncalli wrestling since 2021.
Shawn and his wife Jennifer reside in Greenwood with their three children: Lily, Evie and Ty.
Jonah Odum, Assistant Coach

Jonah wrestled at North Side High School in Ft. Wayne before graduating in 1997. He went on to wrestle at University of Indianapolis where he also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Jonah also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Baker College.
Jonah is a USA Wrestling Copper, Bronze, Silver and Teal Certified Coach who started his coaching career at Avalanche Wrestling Club in Anchorage, AK in 2012. After being there for two years, he moved to Memphis, TN where he coached at Wave Wrestling Club, Christian Brothers High School, Buzzards Wrestling Club, and Memphis University School. In the past ten years, Jonah has coached and worked with multiple wrestlers who have been successful at all levels of wrestling ranging from youth to World Team members. Jonah is active in the wrestling community serving on the Board of Directors with the Indiana State Wrestling Association (ISWA), he is a certified IHSAA wrestling official, and is the Team Lead for the ISWA Kids National Freestyle and Greco-Roman Teams.
Jonah and his wife, Angela (Laker-R’98) reside in Franklin, IN. Angela is a 1st grade teacher at St. Mark Catholic School. They have three children, Grace (R’24), Jonah Jr. (R’27), and Dayne (R’29).

Noah Warren, Assistant Coach
Noah Warren is from the southside of Indianapolis and wrestled for Perry Meridian High
School, where he was able to finish 7th, 2nd, and 1st in the state. Noah continued his collegiate
career at Marian University, where he wrestled varsity 149-174 for three seasons and earned his
bachelors in marketing. He spent his first two seasons coaching as an assistant at Perry
Meridian Middle School. Noah and his Fiancé, Hope Spaulding, live in Franklin, Indiana and both
teach at Southport Middle School.
